Grants for four million. Oil workers will support the best initiatives of inhabitants of Noyabrsk

The company “Gazpromneft-Noyabrsk Neftegaz” continues receiving applications for the fifth contest of grants of the social investment program “Native Towns”. Traditionally public, charitable organizations and also state and municipal institutions become its participants. This year initiative groups of citizens, numbering at least three people, can join them.
Socially significant projects to improve quality of life of residents are fulfilled on the territory of the town Noyabrsk, including neighborhood Vyngapurovskiy. The general fund of the grant contest this year makes 4 million rubles. The maximum sum of the grant makes 400 thousand rubles, the initiative groups will receive from 10 thousand to 70 thousand rubles for their projects. Priority should be given to initiatives that suppose co-financing, in other words attracting of own funds and allocations from other sources, as it is informed in the board of corporate communications of “Gazpromneft-Noyabrsk Neftegaz”.
Areas of the contest are the following: “Towns for people” — projects to improve living conditions of citizens, “New horizons” – support of education, “Deposits of victories” — support of non-professional, children’s and mass sports, “Cultural code” — preservation of cultural heritage. Also these are the following directions: “Preserving traditions” — on cooperation with indigenous peoples of the North and “Development of civil initiatives” on development of charity and work of volunteers.
Five years ago “Gazprom Neft” combined its social projects within the program “Native Towns” being based on the belief that even in small settlements inhabitants should use infrastructure and other opportunities on the same high level as in metropolitan areas. The number of initiators of positive changes, who want to make the town a better place, grows every year. 150 applications, 40 fulfilled projects, 10 million rubles allocated for support of public initiatives – these are the results of the grant contest for its four years of existence. It was noted by the director general of “Gazpromneft-Noyabrsk Neftegaz” Alexander Shushakov. He is sure that the fifth grant contest will help to embody the best ideas of like-minded persons, who want to improve urban environment and quality of life for inhabitants of Noyabrsk.
