The French tanker Gaselys, by which liquefied natural gas is being transported to the USA for the first time, has not arrived yet in the port of Everett, Boston (Massachusetts).
It is being expected that it will happen on the coming days. This information was given on Tuesday to a correspondent of TASS in the headquarters of the French energy company “Engie”, which owns the ship, and also in its American subdivision.
As Vice President of the American branch of “Engie” Edward Cahill notes, they do not disclose information about the arrival or the location of their ships, but as he can tell, this vessel has not arrived yet in Boston.
A row of specialized Internet websites tracking movement of ships shows incorrectly that the tanker Gaselys should arrive in Boston on Tuesday, because they operate the old data on its route. These data do not take into account the fact that the ship in the night of Friday turned around in the Atlantic Ocean but then again went on the course to New England.
Meanwhile, an employee of the press-service of the head office of “Engie” confirms that Gaselys is moving towards the LNG terminal in Everett, Boston.
