Yar-Salye. The governor evaluates how children develop in small settlements of Yamal

In the settlement Yar-Salye the governor of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Dmitry Kobylkin visited the municipal budgetary establishment of additional education — the sports school for children and youth “Leader”. The head of the region threw the first puck in the hockey game and watched the performance of young figure skaters. 

The sports school for children and youth “Leader” was made in 2012. It is situated in the building of the covered skating-rink. Educational activity of the school is conducted on the base of the sports and health-improving complex “Arktika”. Since March of 2016 the school has had its own ski lodge. For the present moment 4 departments work in this school – volleyball, mini-football, ski race and national kinds of sport. Groups on hockey and figure skating were opened. The hockey team “Lemmingi” (Lemmings) was formed in December of 2014. The age of the children was 5-6 years old. In March of 2017 the team participated in the open competitions of Salekhard on ice hockey and took the first place.
The travel around Yamalskiy district was continued. The program included visits of “The Arctic farm” and a row of social objects, including ones being built.
