The prescheduled voting on the election of the President of the Russian Federation in Yamal will take place on the 25th of February in 7 districts: Krasnoselkoup, Purovskiy, Tazovskiy, Priuralskiy, Shuryshkarskiy, Yamalskiy and Nadymskiy. Specialists will come to the voters by helicopters, snowmobiles and reindeer teams. 

Traditionally representatives of indigenous peoples – fishermen, reindeer herders – and also employees working on a rotational basis on enterprises with the uninterrupted cycle of work participate in the prescheduled voting.
According to the preliminary data, in total about 35 thousand voters live in hard-to-reach and remote settlements. More than 8500 people will be included to the list of persons of indigenous ethnic minorities of the North, who conduct nomadic lifestyle.
According to the chairman of the Yamal election committee Andrey Gibert, the contract for 500 hours of flights will be concluded to conduct the prescheduled voting. The cost of one hour of flights varies from 124 thousand to 141 thousand rubles. The precise figure will be known by the moment of signing of the contract.
