Nadym accepted the second wave of development

Nadym is the second town, where the social and informational project “Yamal. The second wave of development” came to. The participants overcame 300 kilometers by Trecol vehicles from Salekhard to the place, which had been the support base of gas-extracting workers in the far 1971. 

In Nadym 12 people of the technical and organizational group prepared the exposition. On the 7th of February the creative group arrived, and the participants of the project are presenting “The second wave of development” to town-dwellers during two days.
The creative group includes: a famous singer and composer of Yamal Igor Kornilov, a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Yamal, a singer Yelena Laptander, the honored employee of culture of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, a singer Angelika Kulmametova, the folk-group “Machit Koimy” (songs of taiga). Also creative collectives of Nadym are participating in the program.
The program includes many topical zones telling about the past, the present and the future of the region, master classes, tasting of delicacies of Yamal, the mobile digital planetarium, exhibitions and competitions in national kinds of sport. Veterans of the Great Patriotic War, veterans of labor and veterans of Yamal, honorary citizens of Nadymskiy district are sharing their reminiscences.
On the 9th of February the participants of the project are going to Noviy Urengoy and to the settlement Tazovskiy and further around the whole Yamal. The group will arrive in the western part of the region on the 4th of March, and then they will go to Shuryshkarskiy and Priuralskiy districts. “Yamal. The second wave of development” will be finished in Salekhard on the 11th of March.
