The voting without infringements. Independent observers were in tundra of Priuralskiy district

Not any infringements were found in tundra of Priuralskiy district on the first day of the prescheduled voting in the election of the president of the country.
This information was given to a correspondent of the news agency “Sever-Press” by the head of the regional headquarters of the Corps “For clean election” Olga Kucherenko. She represented observers of the Public Chamber and together with precinct election commissions flew around more than 10 nomadic camps and two trading stations of tundra of Priuralskiy district.
Not any infringements were found on the first day of the prescheduled voting. The observers of the Public Chamber will go around other remote districts of the region till the 17th of March. It is very important to fulfill public observation on each stage of electoral process, ensuring transparency and legitimacy of the election in Yamal, as she notes.
As we should note, the prescheduled voting in hard-to-reach and remote districts was started on the 25th of February. The representatives of the precinct commissions and observers are reaching voters of Priuralskiy, Yamalskiy, Krasnoselkoup, Nadymskiy, Purovskiy and Tazovskiy districts by helicopters. Voting papers to remote settlements of Shuryshkarskiy district are being transported by snowmobiles, Trecol vehicles and reindeer teams.
In total 61 precinct election commissions are involved into the prescheduled voting. According to the preliminary data, in total about 35 thousand voters live in hard-to-reach and remote settlements. More than 8500 people are included to the list of persons of indigenous ethnic minorities of the North, who conduct nomadic lifestyle.
16 helicopters MI-8 are providing the prescheduled voting, 6 helicopters are on standby. All of them are equipped with portable GPS-navigators, what will allow checking routes of the flight if necessary.
