Aleksandra Goryachkina will become the youngest international men’s grandmaster

A sportswoman, a chess player from Yamal Alexandra Goryachkina is actively preparing for the women’s championship on rapid chess and blitz, which will start on the 12th of March in Batumi.
According to the information given to a correspondent of the news agency “Sever-Press” by Alexander Potapov, the director of the Polar chess school of Anatoly Karpov, she won in the women’s chess almost everything, and to find further motivation, she decided to play chess with men. Alexandra also wants to come to the next level. Thus, on the chess festival “Aeroflot Open” she fulfilled the norm of the men’s international grandmaster.
Now the sportswoman, the chess player from Yamal will become the youngest international men’s Ural grandmaster. This high title will be given to her on the FIDE congress (the international chess federation). Also the order from the Ministry for sport of Russia on awarding of Alexandra with the title “The honored master of sports” is being expected.
From the 7th to the 20th of April the chess player from Yamal will participate in the championship of Europe among women in Slovakia.
Aleksandra Goryachkina is a student of the Polar chess school of Anatoly Karpov. She is the repeated champion of the world, Europe and Russia among girls and boys. At thirteen years old she became the youngest grandmaster among women in the world. In 2014 the chess player won the title of the world champion among juniors up to 20 years old. In 2015 she won the Cup of Russia among women. Last year Alexandra Goryachkina within the national team of Russia won the golden award on the world championship and took the second place on the championship of Europe on chess in Riga.
