45 percent of the total number of people added to the lists before the opening of voting stations voted in Yamal till noon.
This information was given by the chairman of the Election Commission of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Andrey Gibert. The attendance at the same hour on the election of the president in 2012 made about 40 percent.
With consideration of the early voters, 72 percent of people voted in Tazovskiy district, 67 percent – in Krasnoselkoup district, 53 percent – in Priuralskiy, the towns Muravlenko and Nadym show attendance in 55 percent.
885 observers are monitoring the voting process: from the candidates — 439, from the political parties — 90, from subjects of public control — 356. On the voting stations there are 174 members of election commissions with the right of consultative vote, mainly representing the candidates Grudinin, Zhirinovsky and Putin.
Observers from the Public Chamber of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and the Public Chamber of Russia are present at all the voting stations. Moreover, observers also work on the most remote areas, for example, in Sabetta. It allows keeping real control over transparency and openness of the voting procedure. At this hour the observers report that there were not any infringements and remarks on organizing of the voting procedure. However, they are closely watching the voting process and are ready to give information operatively, as the chairman of the Public Chamber of Yamal Dmitry Zayakin informs.
