A social activist from Labytnangi Yana Budygina met with Vladimir Putin at the forum of active citizens “Community”, which took place in Moscow on the 2nd and the 3rd of November. During the meeting of the head of the state with the winners of contests of presidential grants she told him about work of her public organization.
“The non-profit organization “Dari Dobro” has been the winner in the contest of presidential grants for the second time in a row. At that, sums are growing: if last year the organization received 1 million 600 thousand rubles for the project on helping children with disabilities, then this year — 2 million 500 thousand rubles”, as the first deputy director of the department for domestic policy Yelena Baydanova said.
The organization “Dari Dobro” (Give the Good) being headed by Yana Budygina fulfills the project “Comprehensive support and rehabilitation of children with disabilities and their families”. For funds of the presidential grant the organization purchased necessary equipment, and also specialists were educated. It allows introducing permanent system of rehabilitation. Parents of disabled children often act as coaches.
Vladimir Putin asked whether the project had a room for training on simulators. Yana Budygina explained that the organization had no problems with a place. According to her, the authorities of all levels go towards and support initiatives of social activists. The project became a part of interdepartmental interaction on complex support of families raising disabled children. Changes are being brought to constituent documents of the town at the municipal level, and additional rates of pay are being created specifically for comprehensive support.
“This project is a great example of cooperation between governmental bodies and non-profit organizations. Thus, the result is good from such combination of opportunities, and it is great”, as the President said.
