A trailer with solar batteries and an internet access point was elaborated for tundra dwellers

Scientists from the North-Eastern Federal University elaborated the multifunctional complex on solar batteries and with access to Wi-Fi purposed for use by indigenous peoples of the Far North within nomadic traveling around tundra. This information was given by the director of the center for new information technologies at the university Anatoly Zhozhikov within the forum “The Arctic: Present and Future”.
According to him, the multifunctional complex of life support was elaborated for reindeer herders. It is a trailer 2X3 meters equipped with solar batteries, heating system, an alarm button and a Wi-Fi access point. As he notes, the complexes are mobile, with their help it is possible also to organize remote education of nomads, as TASS informs. In addition, using such complexes, reindeer-herding communities would be able to keep communication between each other.
