The Reindeer Herder’s Day is the main ethnic holiday of tundra population of the Far North, which is celebrated annually in Yamal. Traditionally the ethnic festival is held from February to April, when the polar night ends and the sun rises. Reindeer herders from all over the endless tundra of Yamal come to the festival.
