Moscow will see ice landscapes and wonderful animal world of the Arctic

The photo exhibition “The Time of the Arctic” was opened on Nikitsky Boulevard in Moscow. It was organized by Rosneft together with the non-governmental institute for development “Innopraktika”. The exhibition includes unique photos from the ecological Atlas “The Kara Sea”, seasonal research expeditions of Rosneft, as well as photos of the large-scale project implemented by the consortium of “Rosneftegaz”, “Rosneft” and “Gazprom bank” in the east of Russia (the shipyard “Zvezda”).
Visitors to the exhibition can see majestic ice landscapes, amazing fauna, hard work of modern polar researchers, as the board of information policy of Rosneft informs.
Rosneft is the largest subsoil user of the Russian Arctic shelf. The company fulfills complex research expeditions “Kara-summer” and “Kara-winter”, which have been the most large-scale since the time of the USSR. During the latest 6 years Rosneft conducted 20 expeditions in five Arctic seas and gathered unique information about the Arctic region, and in the course of the expedition “Kara-summer 2017” specialists of the company performed towage of an iceberg with the mass 1 million 100 thousand tonnes for the first time in Russia.
