Development of tourism is always preceded by active development of business, and everyone is here today to solve these issues. This was announced on the 5th of April by the head of the trade and economic group of the World Coordination Council (United Arab Emirates) Igor Yegorov at the World Coordination Council of Russian compatriots living abroad.
“Before starting any project it needs to come and to learn about the region. Our visit is the first sign. I believe that thanks to tourist and agro-industrial proposals that will be announced today within the Council we shall be able to talk about some specific plans”, he said.
Igor Yegorov explained that further on arrival the working group at the World Coordination Council would distribute information around countries. First of all, the talk is about 40 organizations of compatriots, where business associations exist. In addition, this information will be presented to entrepreneurs in countries, where compatriots live.
“This topic is new for them. I think not all Russians have visited Yamal, not to speak of people from Arab countries. It is very important to solve the issue of logistics and today, I hope, we shall discuss these issues and prospects with the administration and local business. Perhaps, we shall turn to experience of the Scandinavian countries, representatives of which also came today”, Igor Yegorov said.
The idea of cooperation in the sphere of tourism was supported by the deputy chairman of the World Coordination Council (the Congo) Duc Michel Nguebana. He notes that 500 Russian compatriots and more than 7 thousand former students, who studied in the USSR and Russia, live in the Congo. Russian education has always been a priority for the country. He speaks fluently in Russian, as grew up in Leningrad and studied in Moscow.
Every third person in the Congo speaks Russian, but tourism is not very developed here. He expresses the wish that residents of the Congo would be able to come to Yamal. They are interested in Russia and, of course, it will be very interesting for them to come to Yamal, he says.
