A part of the exhibition project is dedicated to life and creative work of Yamal poets, whose childhood was in the war years. Visitors will learn what memory about the war the poets imprinted in their poems.
Also the exhibition will acquaint with the project of the Russian geographical society “Kara Sea Expeditions”, which is based on the idea of perpetuating the memory of residents of Yamal, who died in battlefields of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.

They defended Leningrad, Moscow, Stalingrad, liberated Belarus, Romania, Hungary, participated in the battles of the Danube, of Prague and Berlin.
