The first working meeting of the head of the region Dmitry Artyukhov and the new director general of “LUKOIL-Western Siberia” Vladislav Zubarev took place in the government of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. Vladislav Zubarev was appointed on the post in March of 2019. The company’s promising projects in the arctic region were the main topic of the conversation.
“We are glad to welcome you to Yamal. We are always pleased that the company has very good relations with the authorities and the local population. Whatever difficulties arise, they are always solved quickly. This is respect for the territory, our region and, of course, its development. Advancement of the branch inevitably goes to the North, new development of Western Siberia will be increasingly associated with Yamal. We have many projects, including those already being implemented by the company. There are also quite definite plans for the future. We welcome this approach and are always ready to cooperate”, Dmitry Artyukhov said.
Vladislav Zubarev thanked the governor for the constructive dialogue and support. In detail he told about the key directions of the company’s work, including development of reserves of the Achimov Formation.
“Very important discussion on development of the Achimov Formation took place today (the expert council on nature management in Salekhard). We work actively on oil reservoirs of Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Yugra on the Achimov Formation. In fact, the object in terms of oil production is not the easiest, but there are technological solutions. In other words, the whole set of instruments, which allows extracting difficult reserves, is being developed. Its replication to other territories will be the next, rather simple task”, said Vladislav Zubarev.
On the territory of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug in 2019 the company began operational drilling of two important gas condensate objects. Based on the current tasks, the South-Messoyakhskoye field will be the first to be input to commercial operation at the end of 2019, then, in 2020, it is planned to introduce Khalmerpayutinskoye field, as the press service of the head of the region reports.
Within the program on arrangement 16 thousand 500 tonnes of materials and equipment were delivered to these gas condensate fields. Work is being conducted in the South-Messoyakhskoye field on construction of a commercial gas treatment unit, an energy complex, a gas connection pipeline with the length of almost 7 kilometers, and networks of hydrocarbon collection and transportation. A temporary residential complex with 81 beds and a canteen for rotation workers was built. Similar residential complex is being built in Khalmerpayutinskoye field.
