The head of the region Dmitry Artyukhov discussed financing of social and transport projects in Yamal with the head of Gazprombank Andrey Akimov. The meeting was held in Moscow. The information is given to the news agency “Sever-Press” in the press service of the governor of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
Interaction between the region and one of the largest banks in the country in financing of creation of social and transport infrastructure in Yamal on the basis of public-private partnership was the main topic of discussion. Also the sides discussed the issue on improvement of efficiency of state and municipal procurement of the region, including through the infrastructure of “Electronic trading platform of Gazprombank” (ETP GPB).
Dmitry Artyukhov and Andrey Akimov also discussed cooperation in the sphere of ecology. The talk was about participation of Gazprombank in projects of the region, in particular, activities on cleaning of Vilkitsky Island. In addition, they touched upon the topic of cooperation within further creation of scientific infrastructure on Bely Island.
Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug and Gazprombank have long-term productive cooperation. On the territory of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Gazprombank created and maintains the entire necessary infrastructure at the proper level: it opened 22 offices (in Salekhard, Noviy Urengoy, Noyabrsk, Nadym, Tarko-Salye, Labytnangi, etc.), installed ATMs and terminal devices for receiving/issuing money, organized mobile jobs of the Bank employees, including in rotational and en-route villages, where Gazprombank is the only provider of banking services and one of the key banks for population of the region. In 2017 the Bank successfully placed 5-year internal loan bonds of Yamal.
In addition, the Bank finances construction of the bridge across the Pur River for the total sum in 8 milliard rubles and also participates in reconstruction of the airport complex in Noviy Urengoy. The opportunity to finance the project on construction of four pre-school educational institutions in the region on the principles of public-private partnership is being considered at the present time.
