In 2020 it is planned to increase the number of side tracks up to ten in Tazovskoye oil, gas condensate field. Now the design of the well, which was drilled in difficult mining and geological conditions of Tazovskoye field, has five side tracks with the average length 380 meters. The total length of drilling progress is about 3800 meters. The company “Gazpromneft-Razvitie”, the operator of the project, conducts monitoring of operational parameters to assess effectiveness of the technology.
The office for drilling fluids of the Russian innovative service company “PetroEngineering” participated in drilling of the first multilateral well on the technology “fishbone”. Initially it was planned to build the well on this technology during 30 days, but the entire work was done in 25 days. The information is given by energyland.info.
According to the director general of the company Alexander Gerasimenko, it was achieved with help of optimal formulations and qualitative reagents. In particular, use of Petro Com drilling fluid of “PetroEngineering” allowed to minimize risks of technological complications and to preserve reservoir properties of the productive formation. The fluid helps to achieve high carrying capacity at low rheological parameters and to reduce time for construction of wells by increasing the mechanical speed of drilling. Also, its use increases the clay capacity of the drilling fluid, what leads to improving quality of opening of the productive formation and efficiency of the cleaning system.
Tazovskoye oil, gas, condensate field is located in Tazovskiy district of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The field was discovered in 1962, and then by gas reserves it surpassed all explored fields in Western Siberia. The field belongs to the class of large ones with the low exploration degree. The initial geological reserves are 438 million tonnes of oil and 186 milliard cubic meters of gas. 13 high-tech wells were built in Tazovskoye oil, gas, condensate field in 2018. Commissioning and industrial development will be started in 2020. The peak production is forecasted in 2021 and will make about 2 million 100 thousand tonnes. In total, the project provides for construction of 132 oil and 10 gas wells.
