The company “Yamal LNG” reports that 9 million tonnes of LNG and 0.6 million tonnes of stable gas condensate were produced in the first half of this year. Thus, all three liquefaction lines worked above the design capacity in the first half of 2019.
During the same period, 126 tanker consignments were shipped. The bigger part of LNG was delivered to markets with use of transshipment from arctic gas carriers to conventional vessels organized in Norway. 123 board-to-board transshipments have been carried since the beginning of transshipment operations in November of 2018 to the present time, as the press service of the company reports to the news agency “Sever-Press”.
“Yamal LNG” fulfills the project on construction of the plant for production of liquefied natural gas (LNG) on resource base of the South-Tambey field with the capacity 17 million 400 thousand tonnes per year, including three lines with the capacity 5 million 500 thousand tonnes per year each and one line with the capacity 900 thousand tonnes per year. The first technological line started production in the 4th quarter of 2017, the second and the third lines – in July and November of 2018, respectively. The shareholders of “Yamal LNG” are: “NOVATEK” (50.1%), Total (20%), CNPC (20%) and the Silk Road Fund (9.9%).
