In the first half of 2019 the project of the Labytnangi Aikido Federation “Aikido for children” received financing in almost 700 thousand rubles within the presidential grant. And new ones come.
The funds allocated to the Labytnangi Aikido Federation within the presidential grant were spent for purchase of new tatami mats and other equipment for young amateurs of martial arts. New kimonos were given first of all to children from low-income and large families. But the number of kimonos was enough for everyone.
“Practically the whole planned equipment was purchased for funds of the grant. Additional funds remained, and it was decided to purchase additionally belts for children and to hand them out within the attestation in December as the award. Children like presents even small ones. When it is known, how many children will pass examinations and for what belts, we shall purchase them. But actually, the whole project was completed successfully. At that, not only we shall practice on the tatami mats. One more sports school “Yunost” functions in the town. Its pupils practice taekwondo. Now they will be able to practice on our tatami mats”, Svetlana Kuprina said.
