World achievements of agriculture. “Green Week” starts in Berlin

The 85^th international exhibition-fair “Green Week 2020” will be held in Berlin from the 17^th to the 26^th of January. Traditionally it demonstrates the world achievements in the sphere of food industry, agriculture and horticulture.

The Russian Federation is presenting the unified large-scale exposition with the area more than 5 thousand square meters organized by the Ministry of agriculture of Russia together with the Russian export center. 18 regions are presenting their best products — bakery and confectionery products, fish and seafood, vegetables and fruits, vegetable oil, honey, wine and others. In addition to the regions, about 250 domestic companies are presenting their products. It should be noted that agrarians of Yamal participate in “Green week” every year. Manufacturers from the arctic region are presenting meat, fish and other ecologically clean products, which the region is famous for.

The concept of the national exposition provides demonstration of achievements of the domestic agro-industrial complex and the variety of food products that meet the world standards of safety and ecological properties. In addition, it is planned to organize the restaurant zone with gastronomic events and tastings and also “Russian Food Market” zone, where visitors will be able to purchase products from Russian manufacturers. The exhibition will be accompanied with the large concert program with performances by creative collectives, as the press service of the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation reports.

Participation of Russia in the largest international food exhibition will demonstrate achievements of the domestic agricultural sector and will help establishing mutually beneficial cooperation between manufacturers from Russia and purchasers of agricultural products from all over the world.
