At “Green Week” potential partners are interested in venison and wild-growing plants from Yamal

The delegation of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug continues working at the international trade fair of food industry, horticulture, agriculture and forestry “Green Week 2020”, which is being held these days in Berlin. Products of the arctic region receive great attention from foreign companies and Russian retail chains. Commodity producers from Yamal held negotiations with companies from Germany, the Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Norway, Austria and Uzbekistan. The information was given to the news agency “Sever-Press” in the department of external relations of Yamal.
“Practically all contacts are successful”, commented Natalia Subbotina, the deputy head of the office of external economic relations under the department of external relations of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. – “Successful negotiations took place between the production firm “Nyda-Resource” and the German company “Lienig” also specializing in wild-growing plants”.
As a result of the negotiations, the protocol of intent for cooperation was signed. Within it the sides agreed that their production and financial potential would provide the basis for establishing of long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation in the sphere of delivery of products from Yamal to the German market.
Another protocol of intent for cooperation was signed by the municipal enterprise “Payuta” with the firm “Richter Fleischwaren GmbH CoKG” (Germany). The sides agreed on a possible visit of potential partners to the enterprise of Yamal to get acquainted with production and manufactured products, and then a decision will be made on delivery of a trial consignment of venison to Germany.
The representatives of Yamal have planned new meetings and negotiations ahead.
The largest international trade fair will run till the 26th of January. Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug is among 18 Russian regions being represented in the exposition organized by the Ministry of agriculture and the Russian export center. Participation of the enterprises from Yamal in “Green Week” meets the objectives of the regional project “Systemic measures to support international cooperation and exports”. Overall coordination and implementation of activities related to work of the official delegation of the arctic region at “Green week” and support in translation are being fulfilled by the department of external relations of Yamal.
