The head of Yamalskiy district Andrey Kugaievskiy and the director general of the company “Gazprom dobycha Nadym” Igor Melnikov discussed further cooperation. The meeting began with awarding of the winners in the children’s drawing contest held by the company. Igor Melnikov congratulated the children and presented them with gifts.
Then the head of “Gazprom dobycha Nadym” told about the company’s plans. In particular, this year it is planned to set booster compressor stations in Bovanenkovskoye field. Also construction of the largest Kharasaveyskoye field will be started. For the full launch it will be necessary to build new objects of the industrial base and to reconstruct old ones, to provide it with engineering communications. Now it is not enough to restart the field, it is also necessary to remove ecological damage on the Kara Sea coast accumulated during the Soviet period. The company assumes this responsibility, for reclamation it will attract builders and its own forces, having secured the agreement with the government of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, as the press service of the administration of Yamalskiy district reports. Large cleaning will allow removing thousands of tonnes of scrap metal and debris, dilapidated structures. The company already has examples of participation in ecological programs. Earlier almost 40 million rubles were allocated to organize work on cleaning on Beliy and Vilkitsky Islands.
The representatives of Yamalskiy district and “Gazprom dobycha Nadym” discussed working issues, production and social issues and prospects for cooperation. This year it is planned to allocate 8 million rubles for charitable purposes. Projects of the public movement “Yamal” that won the special grant contest will be fulfilled, gifts for children will be purchased, and cleaning of Vilkitsky Island will be continued.
“Projects of state scale are being implemented on the territory of our district, and our experience of interaction with the company is unique. It is spread to other territories, where hydrocarbons are extracted in cooperation with indigenous peoples of the North. The main emphasis was and remains one and the same – preservation and support of the traditional way of life, improvement of ecology of our Peninsula”, Andrey Kugaievskiy said.
Igor Melnikov underlined that all the issues raised at the meeting would be resolved.
“We worked and will continue to work — I am sure that there are many good joint projects ahead. Many suggestions were announced today, and we shall discuss them in detail. We put special emphasis on an ecological component; we shall continue cleaning the Soviet-era heritage. For me bringing everything in order is the most important direction”, the head of the company said.
