A sportsman from Salekhard Alexander Urvachyov became the winner in the competition of Russia in weightlifting among juniors. The competition was held in Stary Oskol, Belgorod region. 415 weightlifters from 38 regions of Russia arrived there.
In spite of the high competition, the representative of Yamal once again showed an excellent result. In the weight category 81 kilograms the weightlifter from Salekhard set three records of Russia: in the first approach he lifted the bar with the weight 143 kilograms, in the second he improved the result up to 146 kilograms. In total he lifted 319 kilograms.
Alexander Urvachyov is a master of sports and a student of the sports school “Favorite”. He is a participant in the team of Yamal.
