The team of preschoolers from Nadym won the victory in the nomination “Best project at the fifth regional selection stage of the All-Russian robotics forum” (Engineering personnel of Russia). The event was held in Novy Urengoy, it was dedicated to production and professions of the future.
The team from the kindergarten representing Nadymskiy district included preschoolers Matvey Doroshenko and Konstantin Krivetsky. In the first contest task they presented the robotic project “Space bublik city” to the jury (The note: “bublik” means “bagel, donut”). The children constructed a model of the orbital complex in the form of a ring. A hypothetical wheel-shaped space station was originally proposed by the great Russian scientist Konstantin Tsiolkovsky in the last century. Such cities-copies of our planet are purposed for the case of overpopulation or global catastrophe on the Earth and, according to scientists, may appear in the next 50 years, as it is informed on the website of the administration of Nadymskiy district.
Also, Matvey and Konstantin told about work of their models “Space catapult”, “Loader”, “Spaceship’, “Robot guide”, in which they used programs for movement of technical means in space and transportation of cargoes. The contest stage “We are inventors” was aimed at development of logical thinking and constructive skills, and at the stage “Physics in toys” the children together with their parents assembled a working model of a mobile machine mechanism made of cardboard that was able to drive on the area and go through the installed gate. According to the results of the contest, the young residents of Nadym won the title of the winner in the nomination “Best project”.
