The results of the drawing contest for disabled children “My New Year’s dream” were summed up in Yamal. The creative contest before the New Year’s holidays was announced by deputies of the Legislative Assembly of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Yelena Laptander and of the Tyumen regional parliament Alexander Shirykalov.
“It was very difficult to determine the winners: each drawing was sincere, touching, unique in its own way, and the depicted dream was a cherished one. The works were bright and colorful. I hope that there will be patrons, who would like to fulfill the dreams of children”, said Yelena Laptander.
In total 62 drawings from 11 municipalities were submitted for the contest. The jury evaluated works in three age categories: from 3 to 8 years old, from 8 to 13 and 13 to 18 years old. The Grand Prix was given to the work by thirteen-year-old Alina Akhmedzyanova from Salekhard.
The winners’ works will decorate a flip calendar, and the drawing that received the Grand Prix will be placed on its cover. All the contestants will be awarded with diplomas of participants and calendars, and the winners will also receive a monetary prize. The information was given to the news agency “Sever-Press” in the press-service of the regional parliament.
The children’s drawing contest “My New Year’s dream” is a pilot idea of interaction between two party projects “United country — accessible environment” and “Culture of the small motherland”.
