The Omsk branch of GlavGosEkspertiza of Russia reviewed the project documentation and results of engineering surveys on construction of well clusters and expansion of field infrastructure in Novoportovskoye oil, gas, condensate field. Positive conclusions were issued by the results of the state expert examination.
Novoportovskoye field is being developed on the Yamal Peninsula, 30 km away from the coast of the Gulf of Ob, where the world’s northernmost terrestrial cluster of oil and gas production is being created on the basis of assets of “Gazprom Neft”. The company “Gazpromneft-Yamal” is the operator of the project “Novy Port”, which includes oil and gas production, as well as construction of production and transport infrastructure on the license area.
The project documentation, which received positive conclusions from the Omsk branch of GlavGosEkspertiza of Russia, provides for construction of well clusters No. 18-24 on the territory of the field within the third stage of development of the field. At the same time, the documentation for clusters 18, 18.1 and 21 was approved by the experts after the second review with consideration of adjustments.
As reported to the news agency “Sever-Press” in the press service of GlavGosEkspertiza of Russia, production equipment, including one to measure production rate of extraction wells and gas factor of oil, will be placed on sites of the clusters being developed. Also technological pipelines will be laid to deliver reservoir water to injection wells being developed, and oil-gas collection pipelines will be built to collect and transport products to the central gathering station of Novoportovskoye oil, gas, condensate field.
In connection to the increase in the amount of products incoming from wells, additional equipment will be installed at the site of the central gathering station intended for treatment of oil, gas and reservoir water. By 2023 its design capacity for liquid will make 14335.0 thousand tonnes per year, for oil by 2022 — 8140.0 thousand tonnes per year, for gas by 2023 — 9767.8 million cubic meters per year, for reservoir water by 2027 — 6596.0 thousand tonnes per year. In addition, one more flare unit will be added to the existing equipment of the flare system at the central gathering station to ensure reception and utilization of high-pressure gas.
Earlier GlavGosEkspertiza of Russia approved the project on construction of facilities for compressing and treatment of gas and condensate in Novoportovskoye field.
