“Gazprom Neft” created the corporate-wide system of protection against the coronavirus

The group of companies “Gazprom Neft” introduced the plan on counteraction against the coronavirus infection. Meetings of the coordination headquarters are held daily in the distance format. The basic scenarios of development of the situation in connection with the threat of COVID-19 distribution among employees and contractors are modeled. The corporate-wide system of barriers was created. It includes technical and organizational measures on prevention from the infection spreading. The corporate center and industrial enterprises of the group held exercises to ensure permanence of technological processes at detection of the coronavirus infection in employees.
Since the 19th of March “Gazprom Neft” transferred some of its personnel to the distance mode of work. It will last till the 30th of April and can be extended. All expectant mothers, employees older than 60 years old, disabled people, as well as people with chronic cardiovascular and bronchial-pulmonary diseases were transferred to the distance mode of work as a priority. In general, about 15% of employees of the group of companies “Gazprom Neft” were transferred to the distance mode of work, including employees of industrial enterprises. The number of people working remotely is constantly increasing. At the same time, the company introduced additional digital services of distance work that were previously unavailable. Uninterrupted character of production processes is ensured at transfer of employees to the distance mode of work, as the press center of “Gazprom Neft” reports.
In addition, it was decided to increase the duration of the working shift up to 60 days at remote oil production facilities. Employees, who were not able to take up the shift within the standard time because of extension of the previous shift, will receive advance salary payments.
“Gazprom Neft” indefinitely postponed conducting of all corporate events and cancelled participation of employees in external activities. Meetings with more than 10 participants were converted to video conferences. Business trips abroad were also stopped and on the territory of Russia significantly restricted. Employees, who returned from abroad, remain in self-isolation at home for 14 days.
Contact surfaces are disinfected in industrial and office premises, dispensers with antiseptics are installed, virulicidal filters are installed in ventilation systems, and devices with bactericidal lamps are installed in places, where employees gather together. In addition, remote temperature measurement of employees is organized every day. There are medical centers in the company’s offices, where it is possible to get tested for the coronavirus.
