“Gazprom” will continue developing a new extractive field in Yamal — Kharasaveyskoye. Aleksey Miller, the chairman of the management board of “Gazprom”, told President Vladimir Putin about that. At the meeting he informed the head of the state about the results of the company’s work in 2019 and plans for 2020, as the Kremlin’s press service reports.
“If to talk about our plans for 2020, the investment program is planned in the amount of 1 trillion 80 milliard rubles. The company’s financial capacities and financial stability fully allow fulfilling it”, Aleksey Miller said.
According to him, the company plans to build 1942 kilometers of the main gas pipeline, to put into operation 114 wells and three gas treatment units with the capacity 27 million 500 thousand cubic meters of gas. It is planned to increase the amount of underground storage by 180 million cubic meters of gas.
“And, without a doubt, as for the linear part, it includes construction of a gas pipeline to provide “Nord Stream 2” (Gryazovets – Volkhov – Slavyanskaya compressor station) with gas and continuation of development of a new extractive field in Yamal – Kharasaveyskoye, which is the next major object of creation of a new gas province in Yamal”, the head of “Gazprom” said.
He also reported on accomplishment of the order issued by the President of the Russian Federation in September last year on study of the issue of gas supply opportunities from resources of Irkutsk Oblast, Krasnoyarsk Krai and Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug for consumers in Eastern Siberia.
“The work was done, I am ready report that in the first place, relying on resources of Yamal and Nadym-Pur-Taz region of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, as well as resources of Kovyktinskoye field and resources of Krasnoyarsk Krai, they allow just in the short term to fully meet gas demand of such regions of Eastern Siberia as Krasnoyarsk Krai, Irkutsk Oblast, the Republic of Buryatia and Zabaykalsky Krai”, said Aleksey Miller.
