The two-day business camp “Entrepreneurial agricultural springboard” for those, who want to start their own business in agriculture, will be held in the settlement Muzhi of Shuryshkarskiy district on the 27th and 28th of June. The regional department of agro-industrial complex, the regional center for competences in the sphere of agricultural cooperation and support for farmers, the administration of Shuryshkarskiy district will organize the event.
Participants will receive a step-by-step plan and personal recommendations for development of their business from scratch from invited coaches – a financial expert and the founder of the financial project “Finliberty” Svetlana Samoilova and heads of successful agricultural cooperatives of Tyumen Oblast. Entrepreneurs of Yamal, who are already developing their agribusiness, will also share their experience.
The program of the event includes master classes and thematic quests, recommendations how to create a farm holding on the basis of a personal subsidiary plot, information what state support is provided to novice farmers, as the press service of the head of the region reports. Participants will learn how to make a business plan for the long term and even will receive help how to decide on an idea.
“Shuryshkarskiy district was chosen as the venue for the project for the definite reason. There are quite a lot of private farms here today — people are actively busy with farming, potato growing, vegetables growing in greenhouses and cattle farming. The task of “Entrepreneurial agricultural springboard” is to arouse interest of citizens in development of their business, so that it would go beyond a hobby, would generate income, create jobs and increase the output of local agricultural products”, said Anna Sokolova, the press secretary of the department of agro-industrial complex of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
The business forum is planned within the regional project “Creation of the system to support farmers and development of agricultural cooperation” (the national project “Small and medium-sized entrepreneurship and support for individual business initiative”). As it should be noted, its task is to create at least 31 peasant (farm) holdings in the region by 2024 at the expense of grants from “Agro-startup”.
