Engineering surveys will be started this summer in the field Kamennomysskoye-Sea

The public hearings dedicated to engineering surveys in the gas field Kamennomysskoye-Sea took place in Tazovskiy district. The companies "Krasnoyarskgazprom Neftegazproekt" and "Arctic Sea Engineering-Geological Expeditions" are planning to conduct this work. This summer several ships will arrive to the Gulf of Ob. The specialists will take necessary samples of water and ground.

Influence on environment on this stage will be minimal. This information was given to a correspondent of IA "Sever-Press" in the office of information and public relations at the administration of Tazovskiy district. Inhabitants of Tazovskiy approved conducting of this work with majority of votes. But they express anxiety that it can touch wintering places of fish as they are situated on water area of the Gulf of Ob. According to the words of the specialists, the planned surveys on the contrary will help to receive full information about ichthyo-fauna of the Gulf of Ob and in the future to avoid negative influence on ecology. According to the information given by the acting deputy director general on prospective development of the enterprise "Gazprom dobycha Yamburg" Sergey Kuropatkin, in the prospect it is planned to drill 42 wells for extraction of hydrocarbons in the field Kamennomysskoye-Sea. The ice-resistant platform with the length 100 meters and the width 60 meters is used for the basic cluster of gas wells. A drilling rig will be placed on the platform, and later – equipment for preparation of gas to transportation. Besides, it is planned to build a residential area for rotation workers and a gas treatment unit in Nadym district. They will be connected with infrastructure of the settlement Yamburg with a gas pipeline with the length 80 kilometers. As Sergey Kuropatkin says, it is planned to start building of all necessary objects for full-scale development of the field in 2018-2019. It will be possible to receive the first gas in 2021-2022. The field Kamennomysskoye-Sea is situated in the southern part of the Gulf of Ob. According to assessment of specialists, its reserves make more than 530 milliard cubic meters of natural gas.
