Gazprom develops new centers of extraction in Yamal

During the coming 10-15 years Nadym-Pur-Taz district will become the basic extracting region.

This information was given by the head of the board at the department of Gazprom Valery Minlikayev in Salekhard on the sitting of the expert council on nature management in Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. He told about prospects of development of Nadym-Pur-Taz oil and gas district. Today there are 17 fields are in production, 12 of them are on the stage of falling extraction, 5 - on the stage of development. The explored reserves of gas made 12 trillion and 700 milliard cubic meters. As Valery Minlikayev says, 11 fields were discovered in Nadym-Pur-Taz district, and 67 deposits were found in earlier discovered fields. Representatives of the power and scientific-production organizations, heads of municipalities, heads of oil and gas companies and experts are participating in work of the expert council. Beside prospects of development of gas extraction and processing of hydrocarbons in Nadym-Pur-Taz district, they are discussing the strategy on development of production of liquefied natural gas. The talk is also about complex development of new centers of extraction and also of prospects of involvement of extractive fields on the shelf of the Gulf of Ob and the Taz Estuary into industrial development.
