Italians are tasting delicacies from Yamal

Italians – the participants of the YouTube channel Kuzno – tasted delicacies from Yamal.

“In the Far North, in the glorious city of Nadym a generous parcel with local delicacies was packed: fresh cloudberries, delicacies of reindeer meat and other unusual items. Someone says that Yamal is the Edge of the Earth, but even if the path towards there is long, this is the place that we would visit with our friends without hesitation!” as the creators of the famous channel say.

Traditional northern dishes are served to the foreigners - smoked fish and reindeer meat, pancakes with jam of bog whortleberry (Vaccinium uliginosum) and boiled reindeer tongue. All this is very surprising to the Italians, they are much impressed with unusual appearance and taste of the delicacies, but in the end they summarize - it is delicious, bright and unusual.

The Kuzno channel was created a few years ago by the girls, who had graduated from the University of Milan. One day they decided to take a video of their Italian colleagues’ reaction to traditional Russian New Year’s dishes. The strange name is explained simply: “kuzno” - this is how some of the characters pronounce the word “vkusno” (“delicious”) in Russian.
