More than thirty representatives of Yamal will participate in the Delphic Games in Yekaterinburg

Three considerable and full-scale activities – the 16th youth Delphic games of Russia, the 12th Delphic games of the CIS countries and the first youth Eurasian Delphic festival will take place in Yekaterinburg from the 18th to the 23rd of April.

All activities are connected together by the general program, which will be rich. In addition to competitions on nominations, the delegations will participate in full-scale opening and closing ceremonies of the games, different activities and international conferences. This information was given on the 17th of April by the director of the executive committee of the National Delphic council of Russia Artemiy Ponyavin within the briefing in Yekaterinburg. As he underlines, the Delphic games are conducted, first of all, for search and support of talents and also preservation of traditions of cultural heritage and development of intercultural dialogue. Winners of the Delphic games will be awarded with golden, silver and bronze medals. And it is important that they will receive support both on the regional and the federal levels. Those, who have ever become laureates of the games, are true stars now – actors of the Bolshoi Theatre, the Vienna Opera. They really find the serious road in life, as he notes. As we should remind, the Delphic games will take place on 29 nominations of classical, folk and modern kinds of arts. It is planned that about 2000 young representatives from regions of Russia, the CIS countries and far foreign countries will participate in the contest and the festival programs. Yamal will be represented by 34 people; they will compete in 8 nominations of the games. More than 150 representatives of federal and regional bodies of the power, outstanding figures of culture, of youth policy, education and science will be honored guests and members of the jury on the activities of the games. It is planned that 99 certified journalists, including mass media of Yamal, will cover the events of the cultural project. The opening ceremony of the Delphic games will take place in the evening on the 19th of April in Yekaterinburg.
