Schoolchildren from Tarko-Salye developed a project for “Yamal LNG” and won the prize in Moscow

The team “Siyaniye” (Radiance) from Tarko-Salye won the Autumn Cup of the championship “CASE-IN”, the final of which was held in Moscow. Daria Taranova, Yelena Yerofeyeva and Artyom Artemchuk, students of the 11th grade from the settlement Tarko-Salye presented solutions for “Yamal LNG”. The integrated project for extraction, liquefaction and deliveries of natural gas brought the victory to the representatives of Yamal. The schoolchildren analyzed the production scheme and equipment composition, substantiated use of block-chain technology with consideration of safety and reliability of information storage. The winners will receive from 1 to 10 additional points of the unified state examination for admission to 19 higher education institutions – the partners of the championship “CASE-IN” and will be invited to the all-Russian summer educational forum “Energy of youth” in Stavropol Krai or the annual thematic session #ВместеЯрче (#VmesteYarche – “Together brighter”) in the center “Orlyonok”.

The final of the Autumn Cup was completed with the extensive excursion program. The students got acquainted with work of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, both chambers of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the main dispatch center of “System Operator of the Unified Energy System” and IPJSC Ingosstrakh (the insurance company).

The Autumn Cup is a new wave of the School League of the International Engineering Championship “CASE-IN” - a system of competitions for solving of engineering cases among schoolchildren, students and young specialists of fuel-energy and mineral-resource complexes. It is organized by the Foundation “Nadyozhnaya Smena” (“Reliable successors”), the non-profit partnership “Youth forum of mining leaders” and “AstraLogika” with support from the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation. The project is part of the presidential platform “Russia is a country of opportunities”.
