Seven new helicopter platforms will be built in settlements of Yamal

Modernization of edifices of airports, renewal of park of special motor-transport and construction of new helicopter platforms on the territory of Yamal are included to the plan of development of airports, according to the new regional program "Development of transport infrastructure for 2014-2020". Thus, reconstruction of airfield objects, construction and repair of objects for servicing of passengers and cargoes and also engineering infrastructure are planned in the town Noviy Urengoy. Reconstruction of airfield surface and modernization of edifices of the airport and the road around the perimeter of the airport will be conducted in the town Nadym. The runway and three helicopter platforms and also the garage for special motor-transport will be built at the airport of the settlement Krasnoselkoup. Building of new edifices of airports, helicopter platforms and repairing work are foreseen in the town Tarko-Salye and the settlement Urengoy.

By the information given to a correspondent of IA "Sever-Press" in the press-service of the governor, the program includes building of 7 new helicopter platforms in the row of settlements. In 19 populated areas helicopter platforms will be relocated and reconstructed, according to normative requirements. The state program also foresees renewal of the park of special motor-transport and replacement of special equipment at all airports of the region. For example, for Salekhard it is planned to purchase 20 units of special motor-transport and special equipment, for airport of Nadym – 28, for airport of Tarko-Salye and the air group of Noviy Urengoy – 14.
