Telemedicine in arctic regions will become the required technology

Development of telemedicine will become one of the most required telecommunication technologies in the Russian Arctic.

This information was given by the deputy minister for communication Aleksey Volin within the youth forum “The Arctic. Made in Russia” in Archangelsk. Exactly telemedicine will prove its demand in the Arctic faster than others, as he says. According to the words of the deputy minister, it is impossible to organize a modern medical point and to hire qualified specialists on each drilling derrick. Therefore, inculcation of telemedicine will become an answer to the problem of remoteness of patients from doctors in arctic regions of Russia, as TASS informs. Already today there are such suggestions, which allow taking different samples for analysis and sending data to a medical center at availability of corresponding communication means, as he notes. Earlier in his message to the Federal Assembly the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin called countrywide inculcation of telemedicine as one of priorities in health care for this year.
