The governor of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Dmitriy Kobylkin is participating in the World Petroleum Congress
The governor of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Dmitriy Kobylkin is participating in the 21st World Petroleum Congress, which it taking place in Moscow.
It is planned that within the Russian special session Dmitriy Kobylkin will present the report about new system-forming centers of oil and gas extraction in Yamal and also about development of infrastructure in the arctic region, as the press-service of the governor of Yamal informs. More than 3000 delegates, 30 ministers and 400 top managers, heads of branch organizations from more than 80 countries of the world gathered in the Crocus Expo. Among them there are heads of such companies as British Petroleum, Petrobras, Petroleos Mexicanos PEMEX, Statoil, ONGC, Exxon Mobil Corporation, representatives of the power, science and business and also journalists. The technical program of the World Petroleum Congress consists of 4 thematic blocks: Exploration and Production of Oil and Natural Gas; Refining, Transportation and Petrochemistry; Natural Gas Processing, Transportation and Marketing; Sustainable Management of the Industry. 11 plenary sessions, 25 forums, 9 sessions of advanced experience, 12 round tables and 14 ministerial sessions are taking place within the congress. The world petroleum congresses started their history in 1933. The first international forum of oil workers took place in London. Since then this event took place 20 times in different countries of the world on different continents. The organizing committee of the 21st World Petroleum Congress is headed by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the World Petroleum Congress Arkadiy Dvorkovich.
