The meat-processing complex “Payuta” plans to deliver reindeer pelts to Finland

The meat-processing complex “Payuta” plans to deliver reindeer pelts, which remained after the slaughter campaign of 2017, to Finland.

A drum for salt processing of pelts made according to drawings of the enterprise is already on its way and soon should arrive to the warehouse. This information was given to a correspondent of IA “Sever-Press” by the director of “Payuta” Aleksey Vereshchak. He explains that the talk is about 4500 pelts, which were not required by reindeer herders. Also the company continues the procedure of receiving the permission for export of products. It was started after concluding of the agreement on intentions on delivery of reindeer meat to the European market signed in Germany. The talk was about the amount of about 100 tonnes of venison. In May the repeated commission is being expected. After that the documents will be sent to Brussels. The final stage of the procedure is planned for September.
