The results of the first quarter of the year were summed up in the checkpoints of Sabetta

Throughout the year the seaport of Sabetta provides navigation along the Northern Sea Route. Ships from China, Belgium, Germany, Egypt, Korea, the USA, Finland, Spain and also from Russian sea and river ports arrive to its water areas. The basic part of cargoes being transported to Sabetta is delivered for the project “Yamal LNG”.

In the first quarter of this year employees of the Yamal-Nenets customs service registered 15 arrivals and 7 departures of sea ships of international navigation in the sea checkpoint in Sabetta. Turnover of goods made to 1082.02 million dollars (1 milliard 82 million and 20 thousand dollars), turnover of cargoes – 61 thousand and 420 tonnes, 188 declarations for goods were issued, as it is told to a correspondent of IA “Sever-Press” in the press service of the Ural customs board. 16 international flights – 15 arrivals and one departure were registered in the air checkpoint. The aircrafts arrived from China, Germany and the UK. 49 declarations for goods were issued, turnover of goods made 10 million and 560 thousand dollars, turnover of cargoes - 223 tonnes. Mainly modules, metal structures and containers with components of the LNG plant are delivered by sea and air transport. 879 million and 610 thousand rubles were allocated to the state budget within the investment project. As we should remind, on the 22nd of January of 2017 cargoes to Sabetta from China were delivered by the largest and the most load-lifting cargo aircraft in the world An-124 “Ruslan”, which was carrying components for the plant “Yamal LNG” with the total weight 67.67 tonnes. On water areas of the seaport of Sabetta on the 28th of March this year the employees of the customs point of Noviy Urengoy of the Yamal-Nenets customs service registered arrival of the world’s first tanker – gas carrier of ice class Arc7 “Christophe de Margerie”. After startup of the plant “Yamal LNG” hydrocarbons will be transported by tankers – gas carriers for export to Western Europe, South and North America and countries of the Asia-Pacific region. Specialists are expecting that amounts of cargo transportations, number of arrivals and departures of international communication by sea and air transport will grow in the settlement Sabetta.
