The visiting session of the state arctic commission will take place in Sabetta by the initiative of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin.

This information was given by the governor of Yamal Dmitry Kobylkin to journalists on the international forum in Archangelsk. “By the initiative of Dmitry Rogozin in June we shall conduct the visiting session of the state arctic commission on the territory of Sabetta right on the platform of the plant “Yamal LNG”. This is the point of growth, which will considerably increase traffic on the Northern Sea Route”, as the head of the region explained. Within the forum in Archangelsk Dmitry Kobylkin spoke on the report on priority of transport infrastructure for territories of the arctic zone. The Northern Latitudinal Railway will allow decreasing the distance of cargo transportations on more than 700 kilometers. The railroad line Obskaya – Bovanenkovo – Sabetta will provide the approach to the Northern Sea Route.
