Veterans of Yamal will visit places of past battles in Moscow, Sevastopol and Minsk

The delegation of veterans of Yamal went to the trip of memory dedicated to the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. This year they will visit Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Sevastopol, Minsk (Belarus) and Israel.

According to the information given to a correspondent of IA "Sever-Press" in the regional department of international and external economic relations, the delegation of Yamal includes veterans of the Great Patriotic War, former minor prisoners of Nazi concentration camps, workers of home front, residents of Blockaded Leningrad, pupils of cadet classes, medical employees, journalists and accompanying persons. The veterans of Yamal will visit the Lenino-Snegirevsky Museum of Military History, lay flowers and wreathes to the memorial to Warriors-Siberians and other monuments to warriors. Also it is planned to conduct the excursion around Moscow connected with history of the Great Patriotic War, meetings with veterans from other regions and many other activities.
