“Yamal Airlines” was included into the rating of the best Russian airlines

“Yamal Airlines” was included into the rating “Russian airlines 2017”, which was made by Forbes for the first time. The three leaders are: “Siberia” – 72 points, “Aeroflot” – 70 points and “Pobeda” (Victory) – 66 points. “Yamal Airlines” received 53 points: 26 – for quality and 27 – for price.

“Yamal Airlines” was created in 1997; the department of property of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug is its owner, Vasiliy Kryuk is the director. The base airport “Roshchino” is located in Tyumen. 1 million and 400 thousand passengers used services of the airline from January to November last year. During several months the experts of AviaPort Agency studied service in the Russian sky specifically for Forbes, the meta-search engine “AviaSales” analyzed tariff policy. For comparison of the leading Russian airlines in terms of quality and price the experts performed more than 80 flights and analyzed sales of about 500 flights, registering an average ticket per grownup passenger, as forbes.ru reports. The overall score for each airline was made of the sum of the two scores. As we should remind, in the yearly message the governor of Yamal Dmitriy Kobylkin says that with support of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug became a pilot region for the large-scale transfer of the air fleet to domestic aircrafts. The talk is about the new aircraft “Sukhoi Superjet 100”. In total it is planned to get 25 new Russian aircrafts. Complete replacement of aircrafts will allow unburdening the budget from exchange lease payments for use of foreign aircrafts.
