289 residents voted yesterday. The process continues

According to the results of the first day of the early voting on amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation, 289 indigenous residents voted in hard-to-reach and remote areas of Yamal. This is 95% of the number of voting participants planned for this day.

The voting took place in three districts — Shuryshkarskiy, Priuralskiy and Yamalskiy. Today the process continues.

The voting is taking place in compliance with all security requirements. Members of precinct election commissions, observers and journalists were tested for the coronavirus in advance. The participants in the process are well equipped with everything necessary – masks, gloves, antiseptics. The voting is noncontact.
