500 milliard cubic meters of gas were extracted in Bovanenkovskoye field

The first 500 milliard cubic meters of commercial gas were extracted in Bovanenkovskoye oil, gas, condensate field. The honor watch was organized on the 14th of May in connection with the event. It was attended by employees of the Yamal gas-field management of the company “Gazprom dobycha Nadym”, who have the longest work experience in the field.

The honor watch was held in all three gas production facilities of Bovanenkovo, as the corporate online edition of the company “Gazovik.info” reports. Andrey Polyansky, the deputy head on production at the Yamal gas-field management, gave ribbons of participants and letters of gratitude to the employees. Separate words of gratitude were addressed to the collective for their conscientious work in conditions of extension of the working shift because of the danger of the coronavirus spreading.

Bovanenkovskoye field is the largest oil, gas, condensate field on the Yamal Peninsula in terms of the proven gas reserves. The initial reserves make 4 trillion 900 milliard cubic meters. Cenomanian-Aptian gas deposits are currently being developed. The work is being provided by three gas production facilities: the first was commissioned in 2012, the second - in 2014, and the third - in 2018.
