A dessert and a beverage of Yamal from the best chef of Moscow

The new gastronomic brand of Yamal will be developed by the chef of the famous Moscow restaurant, which is included in the Top 5 best restaurants in Moscow.

The search for a team ready to take on a “tasty” idea was announced within the project “Polar cases”. Professionals and amateurs from different parts of the country and even from Germany responded. One of ten teams was chosen after assessment of experience of the candidates. The chefs of the authorial restaurant in Moscow BURO TSUM became the favorites. The uniqueness is in the tandem of two chefs Dmitry Zotov and Vladimir Chistyakov. Two different views on cuisine allowed them to combine local seasonal products, time-tested classics and current gastronomic trends in one menu. The restaurant is located in TsUM (Central Universal Department Store) - an ideal place for meetings in the city center, breakfasts overlooking the Bolshoi Theatre and romantic dinners being accompanied with the best wines of the world.

The chefs will come to Salekhard in December and will create the food brands. It should be noted that the team does not take money for the work - this is one of the main conditions of the project “Polar cases”. In return the Muscovites get the opportunity to visit the arctic region, to be guests in the nomadic camp, to immerse themselves in the natural atmosphere of life of indigenous inhabitants of the North, to taste ethnic cuisine and to ride a reindeer sleigh. The chef is still keeping a secret, what exactly will be the main ingredient of the gastronomic masterpieces of Yamal. But he is sure that they will be loved by both residents of Yamal and guests of the region.

Vladimir Chistyakov, the chef of the restaurant, will lead the team’s work on the dessert and the beverage of Yamal. He is called the chef of the new wave – an adept of seasonal, local, farmer’s. It is an original combination of European classics and fashion trends.
