A new kindergarten will be opened in Noviy Urengoy

The presentation of the kindergarten named “Winiclusia” took place in Noviy Urengoy. This is a joint project with the Association for international understanding, Germany, which is being conducted at participation and support of the company “Wintershall Holding GmbH” as the guarantor.

Children with disabilities can attend the new educational institution, as the informational and analytical board of the administration of Noviy Urengoy informs. The head of the town Ivan Kostogryz greeted the partners and all the participants of the presentation. He notes that close relations, constructive dialogue and strong friendship were formed during the years of cooperation with “Wintershall Holding GmbH”. It is logical that it led to fulfillment of the large social project in Noviy Urengoy – building of the preschool organization for special needs children. The new kindergarten of inclusive direction will allow creating such conditions that will help children with disabilities to receive education in comfortable environment created purposefully for them. It is especially important that the German partners are ready to teach specialists of the town to new methods of organizing work with this category of children, as Ivan Kostogryz underlines. The chairperson of the board of the company “Wintershall Holding GmbH” Mario Mehren notes that “Winiclusia” is the project directed to the future. The company “Wintershall” is connected with Noviy Urengoy, with history of development of gas branch during 13 years. Cooperation of the towns Noviy Urengoy and Kassel lasts during more than 10 years. During these years the sides prove that this cooperation is not just joint work and gas extraction. Together the sides came to many ideas, which helped to make life of the towns better, as he underlines. He thanked the government of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug for support in fulfillment of the project. As we should remind, a year ago the government of Yamal, the administration of the town and the company “Wintershall Holding GmbH” signed the agreement about intentions on creation of the inclusive preschool institution in Noviy Urengoy. The agreement foresees creation of the educational organization of a new kind for children from 2 months to 7 years old not depending on state of their health and development. The concept was created on the basis of the best traditions and existing practices of Russia and Germany. The project of the kindergarten being suggested by the Association of international understanding and the company “Wintershall Holding GmbH” will unite efforts of different departments: education, health care, social protection of population. Cooperation of their specialists will make the model of inclusive education viable and popular. 200 young residents of Noviy Urengoy can attend the kindergarten “Winiclusia”: 150 – full day, others – in the mode of short stay.
