A new large extractive field on the shelf of Yamal was named “75 years of Victory”

Gazprom decided to assign the name “75 years of Victory” to the new extractive field of the Yamal gas production center. The field was discovered by the company on the shelf of the Yamal Peninsula in the Kara Sea within the Skuratovskaya prospect area. The total recoverable gas reserves of the field are more than 200 milliard cubic meters. According to the classification of reserves, it belongs to the category “large”, as the information department of “Gazprom” informs.

In 2019 the company drilled exploratory well No.1 within the previously identified Skuratovskaya prospect area in the Kara Sea. The industrial gas inflow with the production rate 746 thousand cubic meters per day was received by the results of testing of the well. Operational calculation of hydrocarbon reserves was prepared by the results of construction of the well. In March 2020 the report was submitted to the Federal Agency for Subsoil Use.

In 2019 on the shelf of the Yamal Peninsula in the Kara Sea “Gazprom” discovered the field named after V. A. Dinkov and Nyarmeyskoye field. Here the company also owns licenses for the right to use subsoil of Leningradskoye and Rusanovskoye fields.
