A new tugboat will start its work in the port of Sabetta in July

The second tugboat “Tambey” of the project “Portoflot” went from Novorossiysk to the home port Murmansk.

The ship was built in Krasnodar region on the production site of the company “Craneship”. It will provide a row of services in the port of Sabetta on the Yamal Peninsula, as it is informed on the website arcticuniverse.com. Input of the tugboat to operation took place three days before the contractual closing date, what confirms reliability of the partners and allows the vessel of Rosatomflot to start work timely, as first deputy director general – the chief engineer of FSUE “Atomflot” Mustafa Kashka says. Arrival of “Tambey” to Murmansk is being awaited on the 20th of June. After the short-term parking the tugboat will go to the port of Sabetta. Thus, in accordance with the contract, both tugboats “Pur” and “Tambey” will begin work near the coast of Yamal not later than the first of July. As we should note, “Pur” has already conducted the first mooring operations in the port.
