A northern shaman allowed selling venison delicacies within “Shkin-Opera”

The enterprise “Yamalskiye Oleni” (Yamal Reindeer) and the folkloric group “Seetey Ne” represented Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug at the festival of musical rarities and gastronomic delights “Shkin-Opera”. It has taken place for the second time in the ancient Kolomna village of Shkin, Moscow region.

The delegation of Yamalskiy district surprised the hosts and guests of the festival with delicious products of the enterprise “Yamalskiye Oleni”. Its delicacies of reindeer meat attract attention of many tourists. The participants of the folkloric group presented the gastronomic site with the ritual of purification of venison products with smoke. The northern shaman performed the ritual dance and gave permission to trade delicacies made of the most valuable dietary meat. Sounds of a tambourine, bright national costumes, delicious smoked food attracted guests to the vending kiosk of Yamal. According to the administration of Yamalskiy district, also “Seetey ne” participated in the gala concert of creative collectives of the festival. This year the festival gathered the participants from different cities of Russia, more than 12 thousand people visited the festival. The real gastronomic map of Russia was presented to the guests: Yamal venison, Altai cheeses, rural goat cheese from Ivanovo Oblast, traditional gingerbreads “pryaniki” from Tula, fruit paste with bread ice-cream from the Kolomna Museum Pastila Factory and cucumber jam from the town Vladimir.
