A representative of Yamal became the prizewinner in the world chess championship IPCA for the disabled people

Danil Khairullin, a sportsman from the town Gubkinskiy, was included to the number of the prizewinners at the first individual world chess championship IPCA for the disabled. (IPCA - International Physically Disabled Chess Association).

The competitions took place in Spain. 22 sportspeople from 8 countries participated in them. Participation of the representative of Yamal in the competitions was successful.

Danil Khairullin took the second place among juniors on the rapid chess, the third - in the blitz tournament. He took the third place in the overall ranking among juniors under 20 years old.

Also the competitions were successful for a chess player from Noyabrsk Konstantin Vysotsky, who was awarded with the silver medals in the rapid and the blitz. Another sportsman from Noyabrsk Pavel Dubov won the bronze medal.
